3 men face attempted murder charges, accused of beating, strangling man in Ridgefield

RIDGEFIELD, Wash. – Three men are in custody, accused of beating and cutting another man while strangling him with a rope.

The investigation started on Sunday, August 12 when officers found a man “covered in blood” near the Ridgefield fire station.

He told officers three men attacked him inside a vehicle with “a knife and baton-type objects” and that he was also “strangled with a rope.”

He managed to escape and run to the fire station.

Ridgefield Police worked with Clark County Sheriff’s Office detectives, and on August 17 they arrested 29-year-old Jerrel Revette as one of the suspects. They also searched a home on NE 72nd Avenue and found the vehicle that they believe was used in the incident, as well as some of the victim’s belongings.

On August 22 (Wednesday), detectives worked with the U.S. Marshal’s Task Force to arrest the two remaining suspects; 27-year-old Eron Mendoza and 32-year-old Evan Ebeo.

All three suspects have been booked into the Clark County Jail on first-degree attempted murder, first-degree robbery, and unlawful imprisonment.

No word on what led up to the incident on August 12.
