Power Leveling Guide

Levelling in AQ is tedious; this guide hopes to make it as pain-free as possible.

Assumptions

This guide assumes the following:

• Levelling is done with INT/END as the main stats.
• No access to rares/seasonals/GGB items (IE only uses always-available gold gear)
• Character is Guardian (and by extension has access to the Item Upgrader).
• No access to Shared Vault.
• Character has a House.

Adventurers can still follow this guide, but will be noticeably slower due to the limitations of Free-to-Play.

Stat Distribution

After maxing out both INT and END, no other stat investment is required.

Level 1-9: Burning Solstice: The Answer

Location: Yulgars Inn -> Go to lounge -> Sage Uldor -> Burning Solstice -> The Answer -> Fight as War!

Strategy

Keep repeating the quest until level 9, restarting client after defeating Zhilo to speed up runs.

Potion Gathering: Burning Solstice: The Answer

The rest of this guide is mad easier with potions. As of writing, the potions provided when fighting as War can be kept by closing the client mid-quest.

Level 9-15: Mage Class

Location: Mage Shop -> Class Quests -> Mage Quest!

Strategy

Level Mage as much as possible while working your way to level 15. Maxed Mage will be required to unlock Wizard, which the rest of the guide uses.

For this you're going to need a lot of potions so see the Potion Gathering section about Burning Solstice for further info.

Level 15-30+: Sizzler

Location: Mage Shop -> Mastercraft Sets -> Geocastellum Set -> Intro Quest

Essential Items

Strategy

If this is the first time doing this quest on the character, or you do not have a Shared Vault, complete this quest by rescuing Barry and grab Sizzlers' 'Splosion. This will be required later in the guide.

Go forward with the quest until you meet a Sizzler, and use your Mage Robes' Skill Elemental Sphere (choose Wind) to kill it.

• If you wish to be efficient, avoid as many non-Sizzler fights as possible. As you level up, all non-Sizzler mobs become harder to kill.
• With good RNG this is technically the fastest way to level before 35, as Sizzlers stop giving XP at this point. This guide has a conservative estimate and will assume the player switches at 30.

Level 30-40: Guard Sheep

Location: Your House -> Visit Neighbor -> 87915605 -> Specific Neighbor

Essential Items

• Loremaster's Tome (Travel Map -> Sail East -> Sail Southeast -> Falerin's Memorial -> Loremaster Tome)
• Lumenomancer's Robes (You will need to train Mage Class to level 10 first before progressing to Wizard Class training)

Strategy

Cast The Good (Light option) until defeated.

Level 40-55: WereDragon

Location: Your House -> Visit Neighbor -> 5474438 -> Specific Neighbor

Essential Items

• Destruction Burst
• Pyromancer's Robes
• Goggernaut Helm

Strategy

Equip Goggernaut and cast Destruction Burst, using potions as needed.

By 55, Wizard should be trained to level 5.

Level 55-150: Shadow Roc

Location (103): Your House -> Visit Neighbor -> 1330392 -> Specific Neighbor

Location (148): Your House -> Visit Neighbor -> 35950899 -> Specific Neighbor

Essential Items

• Geomancer's Robes
• Sizzlers' 'Splosion
• Earth Magestaff
• Luminous Shield (technically optional, but recommended for consistency)

Strategy

Cast Sizzlers' Splosion using Imbue With Lore, using potions as needed.

• Wizard doesn't need to be trained to level 10, but helps with consistency.
• 103 Roc will be farmed until 75.
• Starting level 95, Imbue with Lore should no longer be needed to defeat 148 Roc.
